To make this sweet as slice follow the method:
150 grams butter,
1/2 cup brown sugar,
1 free range egg,
1/4 cup cocoa,
1 cup flour,
1/2 cup Koe Koea hemp hearts,
Melt butter into a medium saucepan, stir in sugar. Quickly whisk egg in a bowl and beat into butter mixture until velvety in texture. Sift in flour and cocoa, and mix well.
Add coconut and Koe Koea Hemp Hearts and mix again. Spread onto baking paper-lined tin or tray. It does not need high sides, the slice does not rise.
Bake at 160C for 30 mins. Cool in the tin and ice with chocolate icing when cool. Sprinkle with hemp seeds and cut when set. Enjoy!
